Rough Patriotic Token

Long time coming on a hot day, but this patriotic token was all I could come up with. Can make out the date, 1863, and "must be preserved". So probably " The union must be preserved".
Otherwise cannot make out the front. The back simply has a wreath and shield and the word Union.
