Found near a 1928 penny and some square nails at an apparent old home site. It is 1 inch in diameter at large section and 3/4 inch at the step down. It rings up a 40 on an AT Pro. It is quite light for metal. No idea what it is. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1437853478.581232.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1437853495.678656.webp

Thx

I'm thinking a cast aluminum hinge pin for some sort of heavy lid.
