round decorative metal object

So..found in an old pasture. Could be colonial. Feels relatively thin so I don't think it is a bit boss but looks familiar nonetheless. Somewhat uncleaned, it seems to have a shiny, brassy plated or was plated at some point.

It could be from a lamp or light fixture of some sort. Doesn't make much sense for the area but who knows why some stuff gets where it does. It just has that old look to me.
