Howdy. I could really use your help. I have been finding a ton of cast iron pieces, and now the puzzle is taking shape. I have 2 crowns. It is definately a stove, but cannot find the exact one/brand. I get close with regal, royal, and queen. But, no cigar. It is cracked and broken (not looking to sell), but it is so much fun to try and figure out where This came from, and more importantly, when. I am dating many of the relics back to the turn of the century. I love gathering these pieces of the past. In addition, are there any gun experts out there who can tell me more about the Flintlock I found? Here are some photos. Thanks! Happy trails.

The pistol appears to be a Double Barrel Tap Action (Google images ahs some examples). Possibly Belgium due to what markings I can see. 18th Century at a guess.

Nice relic you have there.

What are the grips made out of. Because of the lack of decay, I'm guessing plastic, and if so, the pistol is probably a reproduction. Good find either way.

Theres a switch on the side of it that you can turn to pick which barrel you want to fire.you can also fire both barrels at the same time. The little stubby knob on the left side of your piece is it.

Hello Mastiff,

That double barreled flintlock is some fistful of history! I'd sure like to see more closeups of that, please.

I'd add the Crown Stove Works of Illinois, as a possible culprit on the stove door:

Can't count out the venerable Detroit Stove Works, either:

Surf! You are incredible. I have spent so much time looking for this brand, to no avail. Yea. You got it!!! Thanks. 🍀🍀🍀

Nice info.! Appreciated. Are replicas collected? It is in the process of decay. But, I loved pulling it out of the ground. Good feeling, for sure. Have a good day. You made mine a better one.

Here is a picture of an antique English double barrel pistol that dates to 1806.

And the next photo is of a non-firing reproduction pistol that sells for $33.75. They are used as stage and movie props, and some people do collect them. The grips on your find are a bit different from either of the photos, but my swag is that you have found a non-firing replica.
