rules list at kelly co. thank you!!

hi all,

i just ordered a new machine from Kelly co.

while at there site i saw 25 places to hunt, so i checked it out. they had all the usual stuff, but what surprised me was they listed sites where old barns or houses were. no where in the list or any where on there site could i find a list or rules we should follow i sent them an email and they said they had one but it was not up, but he would make sure it would be in a few days. well still no list....

this really makes me mad. new people getting a MD. and reading this would assume it must be ok to do those things.. and that ruins it for the rest of us.

so i am asking if you all would go to the site go down to 25 places to hunt, and at the bottom of the list is a place to email more suggestions to them. if we all ask for a suggested rules list maybe it will show up. even if you don't ordered from them lots of people do . and it could still effect you.. so lets get together to protect our hobby !!

Please ignore the first poster here, he likes to play games..

I guess I should ask what you mean?

As in, places to NOT detect?

I THINK his argument is that kellyco is telling people good spots to detect without telling them to first seek permission at those spots?

So I naturally responded that if you don't agree with a company, why would you spend your money with them? And you call that a game?

Wow... I am a man of my word and was working on finding the list as it was in paper form... There are more things I needed to add to the page but we are working on getting it live... Below you will find a link for a basic page for the Metal Detecting and Treasure Hunting Code of Ethics. I will be adding it to the side menu as well.

thank you , for getting to that. i though you said you already had the list so when i dint see it, i posted here. squeaky wheel . maybe i misunderstood the response to my email .

and as for the pocket book remark, i dint say i wouldn't bye from them a good deal is a good deal. and i am not sorry i ordered from them, the people i talked to on the phone were nice and helpful.

my point was just to say if you offer the ideas manly for the new people to this hobby , then offer the suggestions for being a respectful hunter too .

so far i have had a good experience with them. not trying to put them down.

i look forward to getting my new MD. and now my boyfriend is thinking about getting a new bigger one too. if all goes well we would ordered from them again. so i am speaking with my pocket book . i wouldn't punish a co. before i give them a chance to make it right. i may push them a little like this but, if they make it right why wouldn't you work with those company's again.?

All good... I actually thought I did have a digital copy but after searching all my files I did not find it so I remade it from the paper version. I am going to add a suggestion link to it so if anyone comes up with other suggestions, we can add them to the list.
