Running my Royal mini Sluice

It looks like your dirt is kinda dry, I like mine soaking wet. If your dirt is to dry there's a chance the gold won't drop out quick enough and the gold will blow through the sluice. It might just look kinda dry as I'm sure my dirt might not look like yours.

I dont know how wet is should be but it is wet. It is mainly crushed quartz from Chrisson gold mine in Dahlonega Ga.
i will more then likely run this dirt a few times.

here is what I got with the rest of the ore. I will rerun it and I need to learn how to recover the smallest of gold or is it worth it? after watching more videos on it I may be missing tiny stuff. Heck I do not have the best eyesight.

Yep thats pretty big stuff compaired to here in Indiana, here's some I found last time out and the really small stuff you can't see in the pic. You can only see the real small stuff if the light hits it just right.

It's a good set-up, but you might try a longer slick plate to allow more classification of the material, and so your water spout isn't pouring directly onto the black matting. It looks like the flow is washing out the gold from the black mat.

Well so far most of my gold is picked from the black mat. But I do want to make a longer slick area. I went and picked up 10 more gallons of ore ran about 3 gallons and got this tonight.

No problem. Yes I did get a bit of free gold when I bought this but I have ran 5 gallons of ore. I have 10 more to go.
