Running sand through my classifiers.

So, this is my third time at a spot where I take my kids swimming. The first time I posted my finds - $11.01 in clad with 3 silver dimes.. Yesterday I did not, but I found $9.05 in clad with some junk.



Both previous trips I was cleaning out a crack with my fingers....no machine...well my fingers really hurt today so I decided to just run shovels of sand from a small area (VERY SMALL AREA) through my classifier.....still with no machine.

FIRST SCOOP 9 coins with a 1 colon from el Salvador 1988.



Kept working it hoping for some silver mercs, but only clad was showing up. After I filled up my bucket for the first full load this beauty showed up right on top...14k wedding band. First gold. First ring. First jewelry I've found.



Kept working this little spot...then cleaned out a bowl worn into the bed rock (all of the big iron was in this bowl). Another $9.03 in clad.

I found 4 rings..the others I think are junk because even though they retained their luster, there weren't any markings. Also, found a cross marked N925 CN intact on a chain...not sure if the chain is Sterling but the cross is.





Also, think I found my first civil war relic! Not getting my hopes up but I think I found grapeshot!

Just speaking for myself...but my ears would have exploded with all the different tones if I was detecting...I really wish a seasoned vet could detect this hole so I can learn from them.
