Something about the Russian Imperial Navy has always facinated me. It would be interesting if the modern Russian Navy got involved in the salvage effort as they would likely use the Kommuna, which itself was once part of the Imperial Navy. A relic salvaging a relic. Of course then you can rest assured no gold would be found, officially.

The Wikipedia article has some interesting history:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cruiser_Dmitrii_Donskoi#Shipwreck

There have been several claims of discovery, with several abortive recovery projects, or at least fundraising for recovery projects, in the recent past. The Telegraph article linked in the ATI article is from 2018. The former chairman and the vice-chairman of the Shinil Group went to jail.

The irony is there is still sunken ships full of treasure out there forgotten. Some will officially never see the light of day. like the one below.

This one would be contested by three countries on ownership if it went public. Stuck in courts with legal battles for years. The group that salvaging this shipwreck are there for other work. Fully funded by company with in a company.

The gold is in coin The one Guinea gold coin took its name from the region of West Africa where much of the Gold for the coins originally came from. It contains approximately 8.4 grams of 22ct gold - almost exactly 1/4 oz fine Gold.

Gold in total is now being banked as equity capital for extremely wealthy people to hide money. Some times its best to fund in house with contacts with the right people. And not crucify yourself on the cross of public opinion.

Crow, can you tell us what ship this is? Sure looks like an Anthony Clake / Ocean Infinity project.

Unfortunately I am bound by non disclosure agreement. I always honor NDA as not to do so is bad for business. That is why people come to me with amazing stuff. There is some one else here on treasurenet who know about it too? But Alas the NDA are very comprehensive. Covering the name of ship, people and companies involved and of course location, date of wreck.

One thing I can say was discovered by accident. it was discovered along a 60 meter wide survey line of seabed.

Understood. Ocean Infinity was purely my guess based on what’s been published about them; I don’t have any non-public information.
