RV's 5 plates

Here are my 5 civil war plates that I have found within the past year and 5 months!!!! No joke really only a year and 5 months. November 2013 to April 2015. I will post the pics in order that I found them.

The first plate I found was a Burnside breast plate. Believe it or not the hooks are still on it. They are pretty solid to.

The second is another breast plate. The back appears to have been worked and made square.

The next 2, very beat up belt buckles. The buckle with arrow hooks was probably melted in a fire. The lead is all gooped out.

The last is my latest plate find. A very nice looking breast plate. It is actually curled like a half - pipe but from the front it is hard to notice.

Let me know if you have any questions or info.

Forgot to mention because I thought it would be to hard to see.... The arrow hook belt buckle looks like it might of had a makers mark on the back. You can make out a letter Y or A or V nearest to the smooth hook ( not arrow ).

What do you think?

I think you are lucky to have such a good spot. Congratulations.
