RW Bavaria Germany

Good Day,

I found a dish set that is at a second Hand store, and the back stamp says RW Bavarian 9 Made in Germany. I am wondering what the 9 stands for and how old the dish set is. Also, how can I figure out the pattern name? I am thinking of buying it for my oma and opa.

Any help would be really appreciated.

That mark was used from 1928 onwards.
