I Lost my Best friend this morning :'(

She was oriental.
When I got up this morning I went about
my Buisness not thinking anything was Wrong.

come over here to the Computer sat down
& Anticipated the mornings first cup of
coffee. about 30 Minutes later
Still No coffee. Thought What Happened ?
she Oversleep ? ??? I Should
have known something was up
She got Cold to me yesterday Which
was not like her :'(

She shines Bright ! But no Movement
like a Coma or Something :o

Either that or she's on Strike.
In which case I'll be Happy to Replace her. :icon_pirat:

Had to Nuke water & Make hand made coffee Today :(
it's Not the same.

Sorry for your loss Jeff, I know how much a good cup of coffee means in the morning.
Might as well just go ahead and replace her. Once they turn cold they are never the same again.

GG~

Sorry for your loss. I would definitley get another. How bad was it to quit working and not give a notice.

Any chance she just needs a little vineger ran through her....or are you already looking for a new younger model...remember she was faithful to you...or did you catch her cheating on you? Maybe putting out a little decaf??? that's the first sign.

;D Replaced with a Look alike so I Don't miss her completly ;D

Got eight years into my "ol reliable", seasoned to perfection. I run between four and six pots through it each day. Good luck with the younger gal. :coffee2:

It's just not the same when you do it by yourself by hand....... ;D

remember to break the new one in easy like...it is her first time. Are you going to get her up early or let her sleep in a little? :coffee2:

she's got her orders coffee when I want
or Out the door she Goes.

I cut down my consumption of coffee by not making it myself.

I get my mornin' dose from either the local General Store, or a friend's thermos come workday.

I am, self avowedly, a caffeine thief!

Is that the next step?

Sorry for your loss - we had a similar loss a few months ago, so we empathize.

It does help the sorrow to go out and get a new one. No, she will not be the same, but you can learn to love her.

We went for a new Bunn - so our new one makes coffee instantly.

She is always on if you are out this way............................

Jeff was she good to you...are you setting there with a slight smile of contentment on your face? Did you wake to her wonderful aroma and her just bubbling over with joy for you, so full of warmth? Did she warm you up as you held her first cup, close your eyes and just...........................sip?

Dang Tee,

I wanted to light up a cigarette after reading your posts and I don't even smoke. :tongue3:

GG~

the younger ones seem to warm up quicker, but, when you try to cuddle they get downright hot

Don't fret, there's one behind every counter wherever you go. But be careful. I lost mine about two years ago and went for a much younger one. She was no good from the start. When I first put lips to her she left a bitter taste in my mouth. She has never been as reliable as the old girl and I can't rely on her to perform like my old sweetheart. My old gal might have had a big pot but she always satisfied.
