Found a 14k, white over yellow gold with a small diamond, ring today. Solid 10 TID on my Safari. Best part is that it's my girlfriend's birthday today. Talk about lucky!

Very nice! That helps eliminate the"you went metal detecting on my birthday" statement
 
Gives me a great Idea if I find a gold ring, just shut up about it until I want to go detecting on her birthday or forget the wedding aniversary! Kind of like having a get out of the doghouse free card!:laughing7:

I have found 8 diamond rings so far while beach detecting, my wife no longer objects anytime I want to go, she just says "find me something nice"....... Found 4 diamond earrings, she didnt want them because they were not mached pairs......

I am way over due for my next diamond ring...

Of course she gets first choice of anything I find...........
