I have found some salvage, also have located a ships anchor, and wish to salvage it..
Where could I find info on the proper proceedure to do so. How do I ''claim'' it in the meantime... can I. Do I have to remove it from the water in order to have the right to say it is my property. Is it still property of the company that lost it, the insurance company etc... I also have a 6-8 ton lead keel from a 1900 sailing vessell. I would like to bring it up to reuse it for a another boat, legal issues...?.
