Don't knock me for lack of pics this time as it was starting to rain and was freezing,, however I was swinging at my old gristly location. For a good solid tone elongated item thought it was another piece of that awesome conductive 000 copper wire. Lo as behold silver at its best!!!! That is sweet, a big hunk o Silver! Congrats. I have found one Sterling spoon, but it is bent on a 90 pretty bad at the base of the handle at the "bowl" of the spoon.

NICE! Not in a big wad like the few that I've dug. Congrats

Nice... Now you can use that in the gravy boat this Thanksgiving!

Beautiful find man! I'm a bit envious as a silver spoon is way high on my dream dig list .

looks like a oyster spoon, nice find

So far this field has produced. In silver .. 1948qtr Dateless SL var 1 so I know it's an earlier year. 2mercs.. 1944 Aussie .925 florin.. A solid .925 belt buckle and 5 monthes later an amazing Alvin silver spoon, although I did scratch the face up a little bit and it's slightly bent on center .

Wow, nice spoon!

that would make anyone's day, congrats on the silver find

Pristine quality sterling piece right there! Use that thing!
I try to use all the silver utensils I unearth. It's cool to give your finds a use. :)
