Went back to where I had 11 Roman Coins in 2 hours, this time with Dads help & more time I was predicting 15, & Dad said 5. He was way closer with just 3 in 7.5 man hours
Seems my homing into that little cluster in the middle of the field was a little uncanny.
I'm not disappointed though
Dad got the hammered & although the bust is worn its a fairly scarce coin & our first Bury St Edmund Mint (I think) of Edward I circa 1280s.
Small Medieval Buckle & Pin
Top of a Medieval Ring (missing stone)
Tudor Belt decors
2 Lead Tokens
Frag. of Tudor Clothes Fastener
Find of the day by me is the bottom section of an Anglo-Saxon 6th C Brooch, masked face, never had this type
I hope I find more of it
