What really got me was the last line of the article.....
"We do so through science, law, and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters, and climate that species need to survive."
1. They are not even following their own science!!! We miners take out more mercury in a weekend than most of these people do in a decade. What good is it to talk about it if you're not going to DO SOMETHING to help get rid of it? I propose that we try to get them to match us in mercury removal. Make it a competition to see who can get rid of more of it from our streams in a month. Winner takes all!
2. Oh yeah they're using the law!!!! LOL Best BOUGHT legal system in the country is at their disposal!!! They know we can't match them on funds to really give them a good battle in court so they run roughshod over honest people that are only trying to have some fun and MAYBE make a couple of bucks at the same time.
3.
Creative Media
Isn't that spelled LIES? There should be nothing creative about the TRUTH!!! You don't have to put a spin on it just because it doesn't agree with what you THINK you know. Give the people the facts for a change and stop trying to force your agendas on the rest of us.
As to the rest of that last line.... If they were REALLY out to help save the planet, they'd be out there doing something to clean up the mess. I was born in California and lived there for 47 years before I got so sick and tired of the B.S. that I left the state. In my time there I hiked, prospected, fished etc all the time. EVERY time I went out I brought back more trash than I can imagine and never once did I see ANY members of ANY of these so called environmental groups do so much as pick up a bag full of trash left by someone else. Yet on the rare times when they do get off their collective duffs it's a big media event and is sure to be on the news. This happens what? Maybe once a year? Talk about playing "Spin Doctors". Guess they have to make themselves look good to keep those donations coming in.
