hey guys! so i was doing to some research on hiking and dispersed camping in the Wayne national Forrest, i came across this place... San Toy Ohio, has anyone here ever hunted it or know if its allowed? looks and sounds promising!

Metal detecting in national forests is permitted as long as it's not in a historical or archeological context. I don't know whether they'd consider "early 20th century" to be historical or not. Here's some excerpts from a PDF on the forest service website:

i did find somewhere it said that San Toy was private property and not permitted. Probably a land lease or something. but it is a pretty cool read on it.
