This is the city, millions of our citizens grind about in traffic waiting on the end of the workweek. Saturday marks the official start of the weekend where average folks find relaxation on numerous sandbars located throughout Florida. They gather by any means necessary, mostly by private boat. Everyone gets out and swims, drinks, and splashes about. Golden clad young ladies frolic on the sandy shoals whilst shedding bits and pieces of jewelry into the shallows. When the weekend is over everyone returns to the city trapped behind a desk under the fluorescent tubes...

That's when I go to work, I carry a metal detector... dummmm daa dummm dmmmm DUMMM!

Sandbars are usually composed of sands and clays that are easily moved by water currents. As such, it is unlikely they would contain anything heavy of value. UNLESS, the are used as party areas at low tide.

How about the sand bars in the surf? You walk out waist deep then step up to ankle deep. Are those any good?

I have found the guts between the sand bars to be good at certain times seems things wash in or get trapped beween the bars.
