u dug some nice loot anyway

low tide tim and i have hunted sandbridge only twice in 4 years.................never enought loot providers, mostly locals and they take there loot off before going in.............big rich has found a few nice tickets there.

not tooooo bad july and aug.

see u soon

good luck

Dime from Canada, Guess the flash made it look gold. Max is right, most people rent places for a week and seem to remove jewelry before heading down to the beach, its still closer for me to drive there and im looking around to see whats around.

I go to Sandbridge alot in the summer as it's a tad closer for me as well, this year will be different because I have a water machine now. Last year I found some clad, lots of shrapnel fragments from Dam Neck, some bullets, a couple of junk rings, and a nice mens .925. I think there is some stuff down there just not the loads of stuff from the tourists at the Oceanfront.

so why go there

waste of time during the summer

have to go where the bodies are...................the ones that wear all their loot to visit the surfgod

i have wasted toooooo much valuable time at sandbridge

Hay Max, not sure how long you have been detecting but I have been at Sandbridge when the stumps were sticking a foot out of the sand years ago. Had a Nautilus DMCII and a Garrett water machine, the old VLF one.
The south winds were strong one summer and pushed all the sand out from the water and you were walking around neck deep in the water on the clay bottom. Thats the last layer the goodies stop at and some of us old timers cleaned up. it only lasted about 4 days. in fact I was out neck deep and a guy ran over me with a surfboard, he only knocked my headphones off. I always ask the surfers if they feel any clay areas there.

like i said, it has its times.................that same deal works great for the bay as well, like seaview beach (seagate)..............b u t does not happen often enough

mostly locals at sandbridge and most are much wiser............not all

like i said...............july or aug is ok or after great weather occurance.

the loss ratio is so much great at the motel beach.............better for us to find many nice tickets.

croitan is the same way..............and it has never been filled like motel beach.

weather sounds little iffy for the weekend

oh............i replyed to your email two weeks ago...................no word back yet

see ya

good luck
