Probably natural, not manmade, but the interesting thing is this silver "Y" is only visible from 12:00 (high noon) to around 4:00p.m.. I haven't climbed up to it yet but will shortly. The lower portion of the "Y" is all that's visible before noon. The sun sets over the San Jacinto mountains about 4:10 p.m. and the sign completely disappears. Just over the mountain range there are four gold mines. I see this "Silver Y" everyday when I'm working and its tempting me to stretch my billy goat legs.

Hey DR,

Looks completely natural to me, but don't forget, that people would use natural markers rather than constructing them many times (less work involved).

You see that every day while "WORKING?" Where do you work? ;D ;D

Best,

Mike

On the leg of the "Y" that points up i see a "J". Am I the only one that sees that?

Great pic. I would definitely check it out. Who knows, it may be an outcropping of sliver ore. Stranger things have happened.

Follow the long leg of the "Y" and see if you find anything else.

I see the J also :)
