Obviously this isn’t the treasure coast like the other side of state, but curious anyone knows I’m listening thanks
Lots of beaches to hunt, and any gold or silver found will be recent drops.
Hurricane Ian hit south of Sarasota, I would hunt the beaches at and north of Sarasota.
Make a road trip north and go over the Skyway bridge, I recommend a late day trip so you can go over during day and return after dark, the bridge has a nice light show.
Below are pictures of original bridge after the bridge accident in May 1980, 600 ft freighter hit south bound span pilings during a bad rain squall with 70 mph winds knocking down 1200+ ft of bridge, 5 cars, a pickup and a greyhound bus fell with the bridge killing 35, there was 1 survivor.
The greyhound bus that was carry most of the victims that died
Car Below stopped about 12 inches from the edge of going off.
I actually drove over the bridge that morning, going over bridge about 30 mins before the accident. I lived in St Pete and worked in Sarasota Springs, I left early that morning because of the bad weather giving myself extra drive time.
