We had more than our fair share of rain in the past week. This made the bottom of the pit like a thick chocolate shake. I spent three or four hours going up and down the ladder emptying about 30 buckets of dirt. Findings were slim and most everything i took shots of at first was broken. I did bring home 2 pieces and the photos will tell the story.

Nice little ink Bass, shame about the Drakes, but you know they're in there!

I believe thats a star on the bottom of the igloo ink. Hard to see it in the photo

Nice igloo, the ale is a good one to...

Nice igloo Bass... Those Drakes are so thin, they are hard to find undamaged. I've found broken ones underwater, so there still a little hope for me (not according to my wife, though!):icon_scratch:

Thanks guys. Jim, i like the ale as well. Its not like the others i've found. The base edges are thin and the bottle will rock when you set it down because the bottom is not even.

Nice dig. Gotta love the igloo ink and that's a cool ale bottle that's a crude dude.

The top pieces of the ale are smooth. Below the 3pc seam lines, the lower part of the bottle has all kinds of swirls in the glass. I will try to get some pictures in natural daylight. Headed back this morning to move dirt out of the hole. I am sore as heck

Hit bottom today and for the first time did not bring home any keepers. From this point on i will be working the sides and letting all that dirt fall back in to stay. The final measurement was 14 feet. Here's me at the bottom.

Awesome finds, can't wait to see what you get when you expand the walls.

I'm not done with the hole yet but i'm already feeling signs of depression. It is a sickness alright.

Don't be sad Bass, you have been killing me ( in a good way) for a few months now with your stuff.... envy is not a good thing but like someone else said...man, sometimes I don't even wanna click cause I know it will hurt just a little..... just when I thought I'd be satisfied for a while, now I am jonesing for an ink, dangnabbit!

Thanks Chitlin. Its nearing the end of my digging season unless i can find another privy(very unlikely) in the next couple of weeks. So i guess it will be everyone else's turn to post there finds while i sit on the sidelines waiting for a chance to get back in the game.
