Saturday Morning Hunt

I looked one of my favorite fields this morning. It had been harrowed and had about an inch of rain. The field was very "lumpy" and the walking was not easy but I was pleased to find these.

Is this a taylor? It' point is unreal.

Nice haul. You sir are Mr. Consistent, those fields of yours are really productive. Imo that point is a classic Russel Cave, an early archaic knife, usually beveled with a straight to concave base. Taylors are roughly the same time period and also commonly beveled but are side notched, similar to Palmers. Jmo

Nice finds. I keep thinking my field is going to stop producing but the rain always seems to expose more. I hope yours does too.
