Nice pieces of American Coinage History!

The U S pieces are off the collar of Class A's or Class B Kaikhi ARMY uniforms. Nice finds! One is newer than the other.. one is one piece and the other is a two pice construction.

Some Good Looking Finds! I would think that site would have some old silver coins there! Keep it up!

Thank You Gypsybandit, I really am new at this and I know there are some of the smartest historical people watching this forum. Thanks again for the info.

Those are some great finds Grizzly, now you're gettin the hang of it, lol. I'm jealous too. I love findin' Indianheads.:coffee2:

Yes nice mix of finds. No doubt a GOOD site.

Always like finding bells.

The larger decorated piece...is it pewter ? and does it have an iron rod running lengthwise on the back ? I found a similar piece, a bit larger, and my guess is that it might be the handle from a hand mirror / brush, again just a guess.

Congrats, you'll find more stuff there. Good Luck

rick , yes I think it is pewter and yes it looked like there was a rod running lenght wise on the back side. Actually my detecting bud said he thought it might be from a hair brush also. Bet we are close. thanks

Dug 1898 , I'm a little surprised that I do not find more Indians with all the old home steads I hunt ? I have only found four.

Very cool digs!!!!!

very nice finds
