Had a slow day except for a 1901 indian cent.Just clad, bottle caps and junk. Then i got a weird silver like signal on my e-track.It took a few tries to find this in the hole.I got it out and saw the 3 columns on back!Man was i happy.Been trying to get on of these for years. It may be ugly and bent. But i am very happy with it.1853 3 cent piece baby! Also got half a button and some clad.

Nice finds junkhunter. Thanks for sharing...

thats awesome!, I wonder if my coil was ever over one

Well done on the silver, maybe a little beat up but it's a first and no matter what shape it a keeper for sure, well done!

Hi junkhunter that III is a great find What did it read on the conductive? Was it around middle range pull-tab?

Great little silver!

Haha, great find! I'm still hunting for one of those little coins. 21+ years now. I'm not likely to get one down here, unless I dig the sole Orleans minted 3c silver coin (1851).

sounded like a silver pull tab on its side if that makes any cents

14 years and I'm still looking for mine...Congratulations! :icon_thumright:
Nice IH Cent too!

WTG Nate :icon_thumleft: Nice find and very elusive. I also have never dug one. Congrats...........Rich

Good job on the Trime !!
I found one many years ago; and almost pitched it, thinking it was "play money".
Seeing the 1852 date changed my mind LOL !

Congrats on the three center! I'm still looking for my first... either silver or copper/nickel... I'll take either one.. :laughing7:

Congrats on the Thrime!! Those are the coolest coins I think we ever minted!!

I found 3 silver trimes in one location. I think they're so hard to find because a. they are very small / thin and b. I think they ring up near the "trash" areas on most detectors so people pass them by.
