Saw this Chickadee,in and out,in and out,in and out..

Near 65 years and this is the first time I ever see a Chickadee nest site.

It is supposed to be in the mid 80's here late next week. I hope to be on the river in a kayak myself! I have a sit on top and you get a little wet lol. Just waiting on the water temps...

I left a three D deer target out one summer.
They nested in it!
Imagined the following year a real deer was pecked for a softness/ ability to create a hole test...

Lord I've seen them all my life..never where they nested.

Those are beautiful pictures! Chickadees are one of my favorite birds. We had one that had built a nest in the feeder in one one of the stalls in our barn. It was carrying on screeching over and over, we thought it was fussing at us, but when I looked in the feeder our barn snake was in there no doubt looking for eggs. We chased him off. Bless that little mama bird's heart.
