I'm guessing that this is a scent bottle. Glass is not my strong point. I found it at a site that goes back to the mid 1600's, and still has people today. It seems to be mold blown. The bottom is very uneven. The walls of the body are uneven, thick at some areas and almost to thin at other points. There seems to be a white harden substance along one side. Remains of it's contents? The stopper matchs the body, but the glass that goes into the bottle looks like it has been worked to fit. However it is stuck tight. I think the dried up contents has acted like a glue. I hope someone can give me an idea of age and origin? Thanks. Tomcat9605.
