I recently found two half rings...but they were from different rings.
My local beach has a gravel substratum and there I found the half rings. One is a high school ring from 1974 and this other looks to me to possibly be an older military school ring.
The design is quite worn but it looks like an eagle and the unworn background seems to be a common cross hatch design. I know I've seen something similar but not sure when or where
Hoping someone recognizes the design and I can see an unworn example.
