Cool looking old tag, there's certainly a bit of history in that dirt. It's always neat to dig stuff like the tag and the key hole cover. Well done!

The pewter button is 18th C, so older than Site.
I thought that was a pewter button,and thank you for the ID. Found these items behind an old school that stood next to an 18th cemetery, graves date as early as 1742 German settlers. Some but not all graves are in written in german.
