how ugly do you need to be, or at last think you are, to do this ?
Police are investigating an incident where a Schuylkill County woman was scammed out of more than $100,000 online.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on December 6th, 2024, a 52-year-old woman from Pottsville walked into the barracks to report a theft by deception.
An investigation by Troopers showed that the woman was in a romantic relationship via social media and scammed out of $125,000 over a two-year period.
Troopers say they are continuing to investigate this incident.
