Anybody familiar with this decoration?
Thin stamped brass. Looks to have been gold plated at one time.
Small thread holes on each side.

Kind of reminds me of a bonnet adornment I found awhile back, but the Scottish Terrier has me thinking fine imported whiskey.

Suspect 1860’s?

Little bit bigger than a quarter.

I like the pendant idea. The two holes 180 degrees apart would fasten it together.Congrats on the find.

Hmmm... Better pic. Thx.

The item still says late Victorian to me. Maybe not a jewelry piece, but with those screw holes you can bet it was never attached to a bottle.

Maybe a furniture ornament?

Those holes are the size of a sewing needle.
