Just curious if there is a formula for 90% one ounce coins to current silver rates? IE 60% etc? I have a buddy selling his one ounce 99% rounds at $65 each. Just curious what scrap silver on 90% one ounce rounds would be per centage wise.

where can I sell my sterling table wear? ....just sitting in a box for decades.

unclemac,
Here in SoCal, we have traveling bands of buyers who send out mailers in advance of they nesting at local jewelry stores, hotels, etc. and await you to come in and offer your stuff; including sterling. The first four groups offered only 50-60%: the most recent group (two weeks ago) offered 80% of spot--and I took it. Note: If you have weighted knives, it may be best to first get rid of the weight (online instuctions are available), my buyers wouldn't take them.

I buy knives or other weighted cutlery per handle @ $15 CAD or $11 USD.

Some places are paying $2.12-2.20 a gram for cutlery. Around $ 1.60 USD a gram.

Here’s what my wholesale buyer in Denver posted.
