scraper?

i posted this in the "what is it?" forum.i was told it was a scraper and to try putting it on this forum to get more replies.



hi,
we have 70 acres in middle ga.my 7 yo daughter and i love to walk and look for rocks.she found this one day.there were Indians here and a lot of arrowheads found.we have quartz,granite and a spring with giant rocks.
i thought when she picked it up,that it was a piece of gravel of some sort.
then i noticed the lines on it.it is about the size of a kennedy dollar coin.not magnetic and looks yellow when a flashtlight is shown under it.

just wondering what it is and what type of rock it is made of.

does anyone have an idea what it is made of?

Scraper or preform and its made of Chert with quartz inclusions. Same type I find here. Chert is just a lower grade of flint. Nice find
