I found some rocks today, I think they're scrapers but I'm not sure. I picked up about 20 pieces but maybe they're just rocks :dontknow:
I'm pretty sure the last pic is something good but I don't know what it is...

What state if you dont mind telling?

Welcome to Tnet and they have been worked for sure

I am by no means an expert but I have read about very large crude blades (like image #2) that were made by Paleo-indains and used to chop and cut mastodons after they were killed.

I'm on the Buffalo River in Tennessee. I have a creek on my property that's littered with this stuff. I didn't find any points, I guessing someone already walked the creek and picked them up.

Never think a place is hunted out ..had a guy tell me he hunted the spot I'm in for 20 years.. I find something good every time I hit that spot..any plowed fields on your property ? If so after a good rain hit it hard! By what I see in your pic looks like you found a camp site ..good luck !

Thanks! No fields just ridge tops... but I'll see my neighbors soon :laughing7:

Thats what I was thinking. Those pieces look like the ones PainterX finds.

GroundsKeeper, I agree 100% that a site can't be hunted out. I'm 3rd generation, that I know of that's hunting my farm. I must say I find fewer undamaged points than dad and granddaddy found. I guess one reason for that is because they farmed and were in the fields more than time allows me. I have had sites that I didn't hunt for two years because pickings got slim. After a couple years break, those sites were as good as new.
