tool 001.webp tool 003.webp tool4.webp Just curious if this is just a rock or could it have been used as a scraper? It appears to have been worked around the edges some .It is approximatley 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. Its sloped on one side almost as if it would fit the palm of a child or ladies hand. Found in central North Carolina. I have also found many other arrowheads in the area made of this same material.

I think I would have picked that up too- and stared at it for a while. I can't guess. Yakker

Ha ha yea if it looks anything that could possibly have been used by native americans I pick it up and put in my rock box collection as I call it . Most are probably rocks but who knows

Yeah it might be a reduction piece. I found one yesterday almost in the same shape. Could of been trying to make something then gave up on it. Mine doesn't show any edge work.
