I just re-created this using your settings. However, I use a 5x8 coil. Don't know what you are using.

I am able to get high tone repeatable hits but it does take a slow swing. By turning the Iron Audio on, it makes it much much better. I can get high tones both directions at a decent (normal) swing speed.

Try w/iron audio on and lower the sens a couple of notches.

Thank you for responding. I will try those settings. I am using the stock coil. That probably makes a difference.

Ditto what fella said. Stock coil shouldn't make a difference.

Drop the sensitivity down a notch or two. Max sensitivity and close targets will give you mixed signals. The best way to learn the detector is to get out there and detect and dig it all for a while.
