SE SETTINGS FOR GOLD

hi Jon from down under just purchased a SE would like to know best setting to use for finding gold also have 10*5 coiled coil.i believe that small gold has been found with explorer ls. hope you can help happy hunting

You will find that the smaller coils will work better on the tiny nuggets and allow the coil to get closer to the rocks and weeds. Make sure you use no disc. and turn up the gain or sens. as high as you can and still keep it stable. The SE isn't known as a gold detector, but will do.

If your talking about just finding gold jewelry at the beaches, the SE will do fine.
