Search coil upgrade

Will changing the coil change the frequency of my detector? I have a coinmaster pro. It doesn't seem very good with gold but it kills silver.

Either you can't find what's not there, or you're not digging enough pulltabs. Gold and Silver ring up differently with all detectors, I believe.
