THin' friends,
My first Half Dime!! 1854 - Found 3-4 inches with my F75LTD, stock coil. Target ID was a little jumpy, but a solid "gotta dig this!" signal. Found in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Later that day in a different field, I was hunting a dirt area that is being used as a horse training area. No grass from all the foot and hoof traffic! Well, with the recent precipitation and run-off, smaller stones and other odds/ends were surfacing. I was swinging the coil really casually, and eyeballed this point right on the surface!! My first accidental point find, and my third arrow head to date. (Still have not found a complete arrow head!!
)
I have to say that finding this thing was almost as cool as recovering the 5 cent piece. Found in Mitchellville, MD.
HH & GL!
