Hunted another vacant lot where the house was torn down many years ago.
The neighbor cuts the grass every now and then to help keep the lot from being a eye sore.

Seated Dime - 1884 - (Very worn but I need this date for the collection)
Barber Dime - 1899
Indian Cent - 1903
Wheat Cents - 1920 & 1934
Clad Coins - (18) - Not in photos

(Cleaned these pieces in a Electrolysis Bath)
Skeleton Key - Brass
Army Coat Button - WW 1 - (Scovill Mfg. - Waterbury)
Army Collar Disc - WW 1 - (screw back type - 1910 to 1926)
Token - Copper / Brass - ("For Amusement Only" - 1940's to 1960's era)
Bayer Aspirin Bottle - (The Aluminum Cap gave me a Indian Cent range Target ID)
Pendant - Heart Shaped - (Silver Plated when new - the Necklace was bent and badly damaged)

I agree jewelerguy - Vacant Lots often get overlooked - I've had good luck at many of them over the years.
All you have to do is drive down a older street and pay attention to how far apart the houses are spaced.
If you see a large gap in between two of the houses there's a good chance there was a house there in the past.
Also look for tell tale signs like old gas meters, old telephone poles, piles of cut Sandstone, etc.
