Seated, Barber, Mercury dimes & 5 Injuns today plus.........

It was a beeeeeeeeautiful day here in Central Pennsylvania, sunshine, almost 80 degrees, no skeeters, no bugs, just a great day to be in the woods.

I decided to make a second trip down to the old 1869 racetrack/fairgrounds today after work, and was rewarded with a mixed bad of goodies.

Spent about 4 hours there and hit a honey patch of woods where alot of activity took place in its heyday. Was there about 5 minutes and my very first dig was an Indianhead Cent. Did you ever have that feeling right off the bat and think to yourself this is gonna be a great day?........well it was!

Had to work for these, but I am happy as a pig in "you know what"
Take a look-see at my goodies today............

One horse (crotal) bell
One old key
One miniature solid toy gun
1876 Seated Liberty Dime
1898 Barber Dime
1937 Mercury Dime
Men's wedding band
Mother's Ring
5 Indianhead Cents : 1873, 1888, 1889, 1893, 1902,
2 Wheat Cents

Thanks for looking..............Rich

Yea I hate that when those farmers don't harvest their corn correctly >:( Don't they realize its a pain to get around the corn stubbles with our detectors ???

Anyways, any woods bordering your fairgrounds? If so, be sure to check them out. Thats where I'm finding my stuff.

Good luck .......Rich

Oh almighty Whites flexing dude ..................I'm fired up after finding those on my 2nd outing there. The Richster is goin' back to the fairgrounds tomorrow hopefully for more a$$kickin coins.

I know I won't be able to show my face on here, or even post anymore, and will bow my head in shame, if I don't make my Williamsport ancestas proud .........The Richster
