Seated dime, token.

I went back to the 600 acre park today. I was not having much luck a couple clad dimes and a quarter, one memorial and a lighter. On my way out I found the 1887 seated dime then the silver plated spoon.

The soil at the park is acidic it likes to corroded silver coins. I have several silver coins in the same shape. One of my recent post with the half dollar spill the Barber half is in the same condition.

I wish I could find more they don't come up often. In 26 years I have found 1 half dime,18 dimes,2 quarters,1 half dollar so far.

You just never know when lightening will strike. Congrats on the seated dime. They just don't come along all that often.

Nice job on the Seated dime. I believe if my memory serves me right, those Presidential tokens were put into Cracker Jack boxes in the 1920' - 1930's. I actually sent an inquiry to Cracker Jack (now owned by Frito Lay) about 15 years ago, and they sent me a complete chronology of when certain toys were put into the boxes by the decades.
