Hello All,

I mainly hide out in the What Is It?” Threads these days but here’s some of my recent videos. Please enjoy. And I’d you’re allergic to watching me dig and ID relics then move along and don’t comment! :)

Cheers,

Buck

Can You add any pics? I never have time for videos on here. Very Cool either way!!!

Come on Buck, post a few pictures up for the less fortunate that can't stream.
You're getting hardened, age, heat, life.🤣

Not hardened just very little time. Writing This relic ID book hasn’t left much of that commodity.

Post videos here. Thanks.
Well that seems like a place no one will see it. Thanks. 😂

Yeap, exactly the correct place where those that want to watch video look & those like me don't.

thinking I'd like a copy when done :) (trade you for relics..lets say two crotal bells and a flint strike...j/k happy hunting cool vids)

It’s a good thing my ability to post here doesn’t rely on anyone’s permission ;)

I believe I said up above “if you don’t want to watch, move along.” So—at the risk of damaging what I thought was a decades long friendship.

Kindly—MOVE ALONG.

I’ll be selling it once released, and American Digger will also sell it too.

The book will ID the majority of 19th century and early 20th century relics.

awesome, thanks man having hard references in the relic room is a must imo...take care

Nice video presentations! I enjoyed them. The ceramic piece in the first video is an insulator.
I forgot to ask earlier, but why was the token in the last video blurred out?
Also, how in the world were you able to identify those brace pieces?

Enjoyed the video. - great stuff. I am always amazed by your surface finds and I learn something new any time I watch. Good luck with the book; sounds like an incredible resource.

It looks like one of those tokens that people could choose what was written on it. My understanding is that its pretty common to find them with slurs and other vulgar things, probably why its blurred out.

Yeah I love my books too. Bill Dancys book on 18th century relics really got me motivated to write this one. Now it’s been two years and mines almost done but just starting the layout and typesetting phase

Heya my friend, Ty for the ID on the insulator. I sure don’t find many of those! The token was blurred because it said a plantation name. The brass pieces took a ton of work. But it helps that my sites are virgin and I’m the only person that knows about most of them. Allows me to piece together relics. I’m also highly organized. I have a spreadsheet of tens of thousands of items from Louisiana all sorted by site so I can reconstruct relics once the pieces are found.

I greatly appreciate the kind words. This upcoming episode on Friday is all surface finds. My wife and I decided to go brave the heat. Ty for watching and I appreciate your friendship here.

Yes in some cases folks would get things printed on them but in this case it was the plantation name.
