Got in another hunt at the old site deep in the park woods. Found another 1809 Classic Head Half Cent. The last one I tried the peroxide method of cleaning, this time I did the olive oil and Q tips. Definitely came out much better, but probably also had better “bones” than the first one.

Cool tiny piece of silver spoon, interesting tool tag converted to button and a rare star rivet along with the usuals made for another fun hike and hunt. Thx

Great variety. 👍
Super job on the coin clean up. They look great. Ya gotta love that green patina. Well done and thanks for the post and pix.

Very Cool!!!! Congrats!!!!

Nice coins and restoration. I really like those odd denominations, I.e., half cent, 2 cent, 3 cent. Congrats!

Lots of awesome finds - Congrats! What a difference in the 2nd 1809 Half-cent, just beautiful!

Nice finds.

Congrats on the recoveries
That's a really nice hunt, nothing like getting a few nice keepers that stand out.
Looks like a silver tip[EC?] off a spoon or fork handle.
