Not bad at all for a Classic Head :icon_thumleft: They dont hold up too well in the dirt. I say get out there and dig everything :headbang:

Beautiful finds Leon! :o
I wish I had a backyard with a 190 years of Tavern history in it! :D

Nice Classic Head Cent! They are tough varieties to dig. They don't hold up well in the soil.

Great digs .Look forward to what the old homesite shares. Look forward to seeing what else you recover. Have fun and enjoy!

nice condition for an early date!
Great Finds, hoping to see more soon! :icon_thumleft:

theres no place like home... i have found indian heads in my back yard too and a large cent too but not in as good of condition as yours.. if your property has tavern history from the mid 1800s it might be a good place to dig up the old privys..
