Second Large Cent with my ACE 250 !!

Found this one about two hours ago. I found my first last fall "1822" The Wheat was about six inches away.
Both of them are in peroxide right now. As you can see I hit this one with my shovel :'(

Looks good. Cant wait to see the cleaned up pics. :thumbsup:
 
Here are a few more pics after several hours in a warm peroxide bath. I dont think that I will be able to see a date but I will say that it looks like a Matron head to me. 1816 - 1836 I rubbed the high pionts to try to bring out some of the detail.....

Nice! At least you can ID it now. That's the real strength of the Peroxide. The ones that I can already see plainly, I just clean with water--but I've dug some CRUSTY coppers before, peroxide works well.

Yep. Matron Head.
