Second silver in a week, I'm hooked
I had a few minutes so I went to the empty lot two houses down from me. I hit the yard for about 45 minutes and found my second silver coin, a 1959 Washington Quarter. I was very happy when I saw that clean quarter come out of the dark black dirt. I found .65 cents in change, and a solid copper electrical grounding rod approximately 10 feet long (weighed 5.2 pounds). Ill be taking the copper to the scrap yard.
The tokens pictured were found in my yard about two weeks ago, I had them soaking and they turned out alot cleaner then I thought. The larger one is from "Wonder Cave and Gravity House San Marcos Texas, the smaller one is "Incredible Video 24 hrs. Houston Texas. During this dig I also found a 1968 error dime. The 8 looks doubled and the "In and We" in "In God We Trust" is lightly stamped compared to "God and Trust". Happy Hunting
