Hi all,
Got out today to that overhunted out spot I have been hitting. Made some good finds. First target was a 53d wheat. Then I got a buffalo, which ended up being a 1923-s (semi-key date :headbang: ) I didn't know the date b4 I put it in Tabasco, but quickly checked when I could see the date. This one will stay red, no more hot sauce bath. Then I found a 1941 and 1940 merc. Along the way, I found 2 more wheat -- 17s and 46 d. I have now surpassed my silver total of last year (11) -- up to 13!

Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all!

CONGRATS ON SOME MORE SILVER!

Awesome finds, Jon! That's a great looking buffalo and some fine silver dimes if I ever saw any.

Alright just want to know if I'm crazy or not....but does anyone else sometimes see the optical illusion in buffalo nickels (the convex vs. concave shape of each side) The illusion would be seeing it as a concave, try focusing in and out and let me know...

Congrats on surpassing last years silver total!! Plenty more where those came from...I have a feeling that this year is going to be VERY good for all of us....there are already plenty of killer finds posted, AND IT ISN'T EVEN EASTER YET!!! Imagine what the finds will be like when summer gets here and we can hunt every day!!!

Another quality take. Congrats Jon!

Nice bunch of coins....

You're killing those silvers & nick's
