sepro snags tiny Star of David stud - 10k with real baby ice

We decided to hit the surfgod with a triple header team today….tim, ken and myself.
Really slow again today, I did manage to snag a nice 10k Star Of David earring and it even had real baby ice in it……cell no 11, but this is an Iphone even….piece of crap.
We sailed over to the bay on our way home and hunted there for about 1 hour…..1 wave ring – pot metal baby…..5 caps.
Lot of red hot jellyfish in the lane today.

We did not run into dave from pa today, he was missing…..larry, david from Suffolk were there.

Nice earring. I've been detecting between the pier and 20th street goin on 2 years now. Still no gold but I've dug everything else up. Nice to see others get the gold. Keeps me goin. I had a guy 50 yds ahead of me dig a 14k ring with 10 diamonds in it. Can't wait for my turn. Its some stiff competition out there.

what kind of heater do u use?

when do u go.......i do not believe we have ever met in your 2 years.

we mainly hunt 2 or 3 hours before low tide.......come on down wed.......we put in at 26th.
i hunted north today to 32nd and back to 23rd.

I mostly hunt in the evenings after work when everyone's at dinner. I have a Kellyco special. A MPX digital that everyone seems to hate, but I have a good time with it. Found some cool relics in surry and always come away from the beach with a couple dollars in clad. My problem I think is that I need to get in the water. I tend to stick with where people set up camp on the beach. I've ventured out in the shallows a tiny bit but it wasn't as busy as up on the beach and I would need an extended scoop like you have for that. I live 2 blocks from the beach so it makes life easy as far as detecting. Pick up detector and go.
