Sherman...war criminal and madman.
Anyway, what a beautiful and moving place to be. Everything about that property screams reverence and respect. If you have the means and the time I highly recommend a visit to just sit and listen to the wind in the trees and think for a spell.

I agree. I highly recommend seeing this place.

Actually...Sherman wasn't as bad as people have made him out to be.

never, It's a graveyard. I did speak with the owner of the plantation behind the church who has told me unfortunately that guys sneak on the property at night and poach the relics..He said because of the intruders he wont allow detecting any more...Thanks guys. $:-\$ $:-\$ $:-\$ $:-\$ >:(

.He has since installed game cameras for law enforcement prosecution. He wants me to post the warning that they are easily catching the law breakers now days. The Plantation across the street has these No trespassing signs.
And they are specifying Metal detectorist's

I honestly got goose bumps just looking at the photo's, which are awesome by the way. I had to blow them up some and take a real good peek. I couldn't imagine the feeling of walking thru there. Talk about humbling...

I'm amazed by the brick work. Look closely and you can see how the bricklayers made adjustments as they went along so everything would come out right. I can do stone work, but not fast enough to get paid by the brick or block. Knowing stone masons, I'll bet if those guys could see their work was still standing, they'd say, "Yeah, we knew that".

Greetings, Mike, I haven't been on here for a while and have some time this morning so am catching up
on some of the things i've missed. I just read your invitation to visit you. I thank you, that would
be very nice to visit you folks and see your camp there. As a former 4Her, it would be a real pleasure
to observe your camp and whatever activities there are for your 4Hers. From the posts I've seen of your's
it looks like a pretty well-run camp. And I think you have some pretty good country around there. If we
do go down through that way we will be pulling our camper and stopping at campgrounds along the way.

It's good to see you back.

Yes, My wife runs a tight ship here. I must say it is indeed a well run camp.
Being a fellow 4-her you know what we do here and it takes the right person to accomplish this.
My wife has 2 master degrees fro University of TN. She loves to educate and change kids lives.
Were certainly not here for the pay check.
My job here simply is to testify that magic does exist and of course push some dirt around once in a while! LOL
The invitation stands for you as offered previously.
